Why we built this
Maintenance is where property management trust is won or lost, yet most repairs close with zero evidence. We started with the person who gets the call, and built the proof layer they were missing.
Security and privacy
Location is captured only when a tenant reports, a tech checks in, or a photo is uploaded, never continuous tracking. Managers control what owners and tenants see, and every proof packet has access controls.
From the founder
I kept watching the same thing happen: a repair gets marked done, the invoice gets paid, and weeks later nobody can say what actually happened. The owner wants proof, the tenant remembers it differently, and the vendor has already moved on. Everyone ends up arguing from memory.

Do tenants or technicians need an app?
No. Tenants scan a unit QR code and report from the browser. Technicians get a no-login link to check in, capture before/after photos, and mark the job complete.
Does BondKnows replace Buildium or AppFolio?
No. BondKnows is the proof layer that works alongside your existing system. Your property management software (Buildium, AppFolio, etc.) keeps tracking the work order and the ledger; BondKnows captures the verified evidence and forwards a clean record into the inbox you already use.
What does it cost?
A dollar a door: $1 per unit per month with every feature included, and your first 3 months are free. Portfolios over 250 units get custom pricing.
Is the evidence strong enough for owner and tenant disputes?
Every photo carries a capture timestamp, a location signal, and a sealed record of every change, labeled with who uploaded it. It is a far stronger record than emailed photos or a closed work order, though it is a verified record, not a legal certification.
